Music, its the purest, most entertaining, and emotional aspect of life. Music lets us express and explain feelings. It brings back all sorts of memories and feelings. You listen to something from your childhood, you go back to that moment, a song that reminds you of an experience or person.  Whenever I can't explain my feelings to myself music is there, its there when I'm happy, sad, upset snd confused. Music has and always will be a big part of my life, even though my taste changes music will be there. I grow with the music.  I want you to think of a song that makes you extremely happy, something comforting, that makes you think you can accomplish anything, something you csn always count on when the dsy is tough.  #musicforever

You ever realize noone has or will ever know the real you, not even you.  You are constantly changing  from the you that was you last year to the you that was you five years ago and the you thats you today. Those yous are no longer you, and won't be you again. You've evolved and grown from those yous. You are now the you of today and now, this you has different emotions and ideas than the old you. This constant change allows one to evolve and grow, create new experiences. However many yous there are, past you, present you, future you. Noone is going to ever know everything you've done, felt, said, what you haven't done, felt, said, your regrets, promises and dreams. This stuff isnt all that matters, what matters is being the best you in that moment. Doing good to yourself and others, being helpful  and kind.

You can do anything!! Cheesy right?, well let's break it down to the most basic meaning. You: the one reading this, can:your capable do:an action word,so get moving, anything:choose and choose again, this is unlimited. So with that we have another saying. You are capable to do anything, this is unlimited. Sounds better right. The problem with this is we can literally do anything. We have no boundaries, sometimes this causes confusion and limites within. Remember in kindergarten and grade school cutting and pasting, the possibilities were endless but we had boundaries we were limited to cut and paste. Now in the big scary life we have cut, paste, color, increase size, decrease size, remove, add, fix, rotate; we are no longer stuck in a beautiful wrapped box. We have no limits no boundaries, all around is blankness that we need to fill in anyway possible. Have fun with that grown ups.

Box of Accomplishments

This concept started as a joke, I said "ooo, I'm going to add that to my box of accomplishments", then I thought about it and decided "Hey, I want a box of accomplishments." This idea is great when you have a bad day just look at it or when you've done something awesome write it down. This way you won't forget something awesome you've done. This is a great exercise to boost your self esteem and really prove that no matter how big or how small something you do is it's still something and its unique to you and how you felt doing it. So I set out to find a box, something pretty and large enough to allow for many accomplishments. I went to Dollarama, found a pretty purple box that ties up if i wanted it to and wrote on the top "Box of accomplishments, made in 2015". Then I found some pattern scrap booking papers and cut them in half so they will fit in the box and have more pieces. Tips Find a box perfect for you, something you'...

Graphic Design Process

One may think being a graphic designer is impossible, it's really not. No matter what type of graphic designer you want to be the steps are gonna be the same. So if you want to create logos, packaging, banners, etc; find what you like and go for it. Many people think you need schooling and art skills and everything but realistically you don't. All you need is to believe you can and learn on your own. Dive in at your own rate, and create something that excites you. Find inspiration, find role models, search out other graphic designers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dl4hkFrR5c This video goes further into details about the steps and process of being a graphic designer. 1)Idea 2)Sketch 3)Basic piece 4)Customize and add details

Undecided

In grade 8(2004) I remember reading a book, I remember it so well because I thought the concept was so strange. This book which has since became a movie, works on the premise that when you are twelve your given a career. I'm 23 and still don't know what i want to be when I grow up. It's not that I have no ideas, it's that everything seems so interesting and I just am scatter brained; vlog, blog, create, help, too many choices. The concept of go to school, pick something you want to do(one thing), go to college/ university, be in dept, realize that's not what you wanted, change your mind; repeat. Honestly there needs to be a better system but this is what we have, many have struggled with it many have accomplished greatness with it. So lets all accomplish greatness; right here, right now. No matter if you know what you want or your bouncing between what you want. Do what makes you happy in the moment, don't worry what made you happy last year, or next year. You w...

Projects

Recently I've been on an exploration of whats next, what is to come what am I capable of. Answer is no matter what we plan, how much we plan we never know whats next, we'll have a general idea but until something happens we don't know. People are capable of so much; just when you think you can't do something, Do It. Challenge yourself, lets other challenge you, let them tell you that you cant do it, prove them wrong, prove yourself wrong. In the words of my 5 year old son "I'm trying to put my brave on". Don't let anyone tell you that you cant do something and let it be the end. If you give in to this thinking you won't be able to live a healthy life. It's fine to have doubts, be afraid, to not put everything into something all at once; but you need to put what you can into it or you will not do anything. If I gave into this thinking, that I wasn't good enough, that I can't do something, that what I'm trying to accomplish wasn...

Being a graphic designer

Suggestions for being a Graphic Designer There are many Freelance websites; www.freelancer.ca  and  www.elance.com  are ones that I frequently look at. They're very professional sites with plenty of jobs for any type of graphic designer. You could also Google "Freelance work" or "Freelance websites". A lot of this is trial and error and a lot of putting yourself out there. I use these sites to build my portfolio, they give great ideas for what other people would like and gives you specifications to work around. Another fantastic way to build your portfolio and your skills is to work on tutorials, whether these are specific tutorials or broad topics they will both enhance your skills and make you a better graphic designer. You may feel that these tutorials are silly and aren't going to help you because they're specific, I know that's how I felt until recently. These are a few tips that helped me get through. Pick a few tutorials at a t...
