In grade 8(2004) I remember reading a book, I remember it so well because I thought the concept was so strange. This book which has since became a movie, works on the premise that when you are twelve your given a career. I'm 23 and still don't know what i want to be when I grow up. It's not that I have no ideas, it's that everything seems so interesting and I just am scatter brained; vlog, blog, create, help, too many choices. The concept of go to school, pick something you want to do(one thing), go to college/ university, be in dept, realize that's not what you wanted, change your mind; repeat. Honestly there needs to be a better system but this is what we have, many have struggled with it many have accomplished greatness with it. So lets all accomplish greatness; right here, right now. No matter if you know what you want or your bouncing between what you want. Do what makes you happy in the moment, don't worry what made you happy last year, or next year. You were a different person then and you will change again. Do want you love and you will be great.
Other movies and shows have also used this concept, that you need to know at a certain age what you want to do in life. Full house, family matters, Cosby show, Fresh Prince; they all talked about being successful when you grow up. Which is great when your young and looking for role models; but now that I'm older the thought of not knowing is scary, sure I'm great at a lot of things, and I'm quite intelligent but with that comes indecisiveness and maybe that's the scary thing in this situation. Not understanding myself enough to know what I want to do. Anyways there will be a point in the future where this point becomes mute and we will know that what we are doing in this moment is exactly what were suppose to be doing and have an overwhelming realization that everything is perfect and this is meant to happen, so that's the point you need to look forward to.
With all of this being said my blogs will consist of more informational, tutorials, and fun things. This is to reassure myself and anyone else that life will come together and to just do what you wan, don't doubt yourself or let others doubt you; take the leap.
